(English) Presentation of the Gender Center for freshmen

A lecture-conversation about the peculiarities of the activity of the gender center of the UDUU named after Pavlo Tychyna was held for the first-year students.

An introductory speech was made by the dean of the faculty Kravchenko O. O. where he emphasized the productive work of the Center and invited those who wished to become researchers and researchers of gender.

Voitovska A. I., the Center’s coordinator, spoke about the concept of “gender” and its factors, the gender incision of history, the manifestation of gender inequality in Ukraine, gender-oriented budgeting, the formation of gender stereotypes among young people.

Students joined an active conversation about LGBT community representatives and a discussion on gender equality at the household level.

After the lecture, freshmen have long been impressed and discussed gender issues.
