The style and methods of teaching


Approaches to teaching and learning

Learning styles – active, which allows the student to choose a subject and organize time. Courses are held in the form of workshops, with methodological working meetings for students who are at the same time or over a diachronic theme. During the first year the student chooses the direction of research, including courses (courses that you want to listen to) and discuss their choice in the colloquium.Over the last year most of the time dedicated to writing the thesis, which will present and defend before the commission scientists.

Master of Education should know:

– The basis of humanitarian and socio-economic disciplines that are needed to solve educational, scientific, methodological and organizational and management problems;

– Patterns of socio-political and economic development of Ukraine in the international community, to realize their professional and social role in these processes;

– Conception, theoretical and methodological foundations for the study subjects teaching cycle in their focus on high school;

– Development history and current state of scientific knowledge in social work needed for scientific research;

– The latest research in the field of education and pedagogy;

– Terminology of social and educational sciences;

– Organizational and technical foundations, teaching and other professional activities in higher education;

– Experience in implementing credit transfer system training in domestic and foreign pedagogy of high school;

– Methodological principles of scientific and educational activities, the procedure of scientific research and modern scientific techniques needed for teaching social studies;

– The basis of professional ethics, professional communication culture;

Master of Education should be able to:

– To scientifically analyze social and educational processes in the country and abroad freely find and use a foreign language the information necessary for the organization and design of professional and research activities;

– To produce their own position to assess the social and educational processes and events based on the historical context of their development, to be able to dialogue as a means of relationship to cultural identity and culture.

– Be able to analyze scientifically socio-educational and socio-psychological problems and processes to use the methods of science in various kinds of professional activity;

– Creatively apply acquired knowledge for the optimal solution of scientific and pedagogical tasks;

– Organize and implement effective educational work of studying pedagogical subjects in high school;

– Use a variety of forms, methods and teaching aids have modern technology training and advanced management methods educational, research and other activities of students;

– The means to present oral and writing the results of its own research Ukrainian and foreign languages;

According to the National Qualifications Framework Ph.D. applicant should take the following competencies:

1) acquire deep knowledge of the specialty by which a graduate student doing research, including basic concepts to learn, to understand the theoretical and practical problems of the history and current state of scientific knowledge in the chosen specialty, master the terminology of the studied scientific field;

2) master general scientific (philosophical) competencies aimed at developing a systematic scientific worldview, ethics and general cultural horizons;

3) acquire universal skills of researchers, including oral and written presentation of the results of its own research Ukrainian language, the use of modern information technology in research activities, organizing and conducting training sessions, management of research projects and / or writing proposals for funding scientific research, registration of intellectual property rights etc;

4) acquire linguistic competence sufficient to present and discuss their research results in foreign language (English or another, according to the specific specialty) orally and in writing, and for full understanding of foreign scientific texts of the relevant specialty.
