“Academic Integrity is a Requirement of Ukrainian Legislation on Education”

Promoting academic virtue is one of the priorities of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education.

Within the framework of the XII change of camp for student youth “ACTION” a lecture-training was held on the topic: “Academic virtue – the requirement of the legislation of Ukraine on education”.

In the first part of the event, the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work Oksana Kravchenko, focused the students’ attention on the issue of the essence and content of the concept of “academic integrity”, observance of academic integrity by the students of higher education, academic excellence. The second part – creative direction – provided the students of the project “University of the Future”, which was conducted by the student of the 4th year Anna Kravchenko. The students presented interesting, creative projects.

The meeting was meaningful and extraordinary. It is worth noting that such meetings will be regular for first-year students and will help them to better understand the basics of scientific writing, the principles of information retrieval, and respect for integrity during their HSE training.
