Educational event “Masnytsia – Celebration of Ukrainians: History and Traditions of Celebration”

For the students of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education, they held an educational event “Masnytsia – Ukrainian Holiday: History and Traditions of Celebration” at the Uman Regional Museum.

During the excursion, students were introduced to the history of the Ukrainian holiday – Masnytsia, or as the Ukrainian people call it Kolodiy and the traditions of celebration. The excursion was also adapted for students from OOP who attended the event. The excursion was conducted by a researcher – Plamadyala Victoria.

The educational event was aimed at national-patriotic upbringing of student youth, enhancing the culture of students.

In order to improve the overall development of students, another sightseeing tour of the Museum of Local History was conducted.

The Faculty of Social and Psychological Education is grateful to the staff of the Uman Regional Museum for conducting an interesting and meaningful excursion for the students of our faculty.
