Kaleidoscope of events “Community friendly to children and youth”

In 2020, 33 Ukrainian communities will participate in the implementation of the initiative “Community friendly to children and youth.” More than 9 million people live in these communities, which is 22% of the country’s population. The city of Uman, on a par with such cities as Kremenchuk, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Lviv, at the end of 2018 received the international status of a candidate for the prestigious global initiative “Community friendly to children and youth.”

Representatives of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education are also actively involved in the implementation of measures aimed at self-realization of children and youth, as well as the prevention of negative behaviors.

In particular, to achieve Goal № 1 “The right to recognition, respect and fair treatment” volunteers of the faculty conducted a series of trainings “Do not be silent” for students in grades 5-11. the causes and consequences of their actions, and most importantly learned communication in the student body, and methods and techniques that help avoid aggression in schools.

In accordance with the goal Право2 “The right to be heard”, an annual festival of socio-psychological drama “Hear! Near! ” The purpose of this event, using the principle of “peer to peer”, to convey to young people the importance of overcoming social problems and social ills, increase the number of like-minded people and show ways to solve these problems through the eyes of students.
