International activity of the Faculty is carried out in accordance with the main directions of international activity of the University. The students of the faculty are involved in various international scientific and educational events, constantly participate in international mobility projects and programs.

Thus, for several years now students have been enrolled in the Academic Mobility Program at the Pomeranian Academy (Slupsk, Poland).

The purpose of such exchange is: study abroad; knowledge of the organization of higher education in foreign countries; deepening and learning new knowledge in the same specialty, which is taught at the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna; gaining experience in communicating with teachers from other countries and broadening their knowledge of Polish.

Among the tasks that students face in such exchange programs are: familiarization with the system of organization of education in higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland; share your experience and get a new one; improve the knowledge of the Polish language through daily use; get acquainted with the traditions and customs of the country.

The Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk is located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in northern Poland, near the Baltic Sea. Each year, the Academy welcomes hundreds of students and teachers from not only Poland, but also from countries such as the United States, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus and Norway.

As part of the program, students of our faculty have had the opportunity to study for 4 months at this institution for free. They were grouped into groups with foreign students.

In the lessons, much attention was paid to practical tasks, which very well contributed to better learning of the material and gaining experience. Couples of our students visited together with Polish students, which made it possible to compare their educational process with ours and to speak Polish or English.

Much attention is paid to scientific work at the Naval Academy. Thanks to this, students have the opportunity to visit the Ukrainian-Polish Festival of Culture, which is attended by representatives of both countries. They also have the opportunity to attend a dance psychology festival and a conference of psychology teachers about teaching in lower grades, which is a good continuation of the psychology course.

While studying, students also have free time, weekends and vacations, enabling them to travel not only to Poland but also to other European countries, such as France and Germany, which has also played an important role in the study of cultures of foreign countries.

During the cooperation between the Pavel Tychyna State Pedagogical University and the Pomeranian Academy, a significant number of students participated in the mobility program, namely:

  • Abdrakhimov Maxim Kamil’ovichl;

Each day, the project provided trainings, workshops, field trips and lectures on historical topics, as well as discussing events that took place in 1989 around the world. Most of all, the student was impressed by the excursion to Wroclaw, where she was able to visually see and feel the unique aura of harmony and beauty of places that had long been known from books, television screens and the internet.

As part of the Erasmus + program, on October 1, 2019, Topolnyk Olga, a sophomore, was selected to participate in a youth exchange in Georgia. The project lasted for 10 days 42 participants from such countries as Ukraine, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, Pakistan, Portugal, Hungary participated in the project. Such youth exchange is very similar to international camps, but much more interesting because of practical cases and language practice.
