Scientific and methodological seminar of department heads

Higher education security has been presented by a mainstream public update. He proposed the principle of “education in life”, which proclaimed the basic program in European and national space, outlining social and psychological education in the University Faculty (Dean – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Oksana Kravchenko).

One of the structural divisions of the faculty and the university, which has an active educational activity, is the Center for the Professional Development of Teachers (Director – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management Alexander Kobernyk) teachers and administrative and management staff of the university.

Within the framework of the Center for Professional Development of Teachers, on September 12, a scientific and methodological seminar of the department heads was held.

Director of the Center Oleksandr Kobernik addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, summarizing the Center’s 3-year activities; outlined perspective directions of work based on the study and analysis of the requests and needs of the department heads for updating and expanding knowledge, forming competencies in psycho-pedagogical, research, organizational and management activities.

The Vice-Rector for Innovation and European Integration, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Natalia Kolyada thoroughly reported on the peculiarities of attestation of the University in terms of conducting scientific (scientific and technical) activity. The presentation and handouts focus on the primary common tasks of the university’s structural units and the prospective plan for its development for the period 2019-2023.

With innovations on the procedure for accreditation of educational programs in 2019/2020 Iryna Limanyuk, Head of the Department of Licensing, Accreditation and Monitoring of the Quality of Education, presented the participants in detail.

Further meetings of the seminar will be held in accordance with the program of professional development and improvement of professional competence of department heads.
