In memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

Heavenly Hundred Heroes Remembrance Day is celebrated annually on February 20, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 69/2015 of February 11, 2015, “On Honoring the Feature of Participants in the Revolution of Dignity and Commemorating the Memory of Heavenly Hundred Heroes”.
It was during these days during the Revolution of Dignity that the confrontation between the Ukrainian people and the then regime reached its height.

The 2013-2014 revolution has cost more than a hundred lives. The Heavenly Hundred became an example of self-sacrifice in the name of higher ideals, one of which was dignity.

The Maidan has ceased to be the only name of the area. He became a symbol of Freedom. The Dignity Revolution became the largest protest in Ukraine’s recent history, the struggle of Ukrainian citizens for their rights and democratic European choice. Dignity, freedom, courage, unity, honor have become one of the main unifying values ​​of the Dignity Revolution.

Honoring the memory of Heavenly Hundred, students of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education read a poem entitled “Heavenly Hundred”, which is dedicated to heroes, and was written on February 23, 2014.
