Winning the IV All-Ukrainian Student Philosophy Tournament

Students of Pavel Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University won the IV All-Ukrainian Student Philosophy Tournament, held on February 14-15 at the Faculty of History and Philosophy of Kyiv University n.a. Boris Grinchenko.

This year the competition united 13 teams from the leading ZVO of Ukraine, among them the team of Pavlov Tychyna USPU – Andriy Varyvoda (Faculty of Social and Psychological Education), Anton Nehay and Artem Lukienko (Faculty of History). The 39 players came together in a true philosophical battle, demonstrating their knowledge, erudition and oratorical skills.

According to the results of the first day, three strongest teams came to the finals: the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna, the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University and the Sumy State Pedagogical University. AS Makarenko. And as a result of the final, the UDPU team won. At present, Umani philosophers have counted on “bronze” and “silver” of previous years and dreamy “gold 2020”.

“The tournament is a systematic work of three players. Very different, but united by the idea of ​​victory, knowledge and philosophy”, says teammate Anton Nehaj.

Teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences assisted in the preparation of the tournament participants: Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor Vladimir Furkalo and Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor Igor Fitsyk.
