Presentation of the first platform for volunteers in Ukraine

Recently a presentation of the first volunteer platform for the Volunteer League in Ukraine was held in Uman. The leaders and representatives of local self-government bodies, the NGO CESNO movement, and volunteer organizations of the city took part in it.

In the event, the activities of the Umani volunteer organizations were analyzed in detail and their active life position was noted. “In recent years, the volunteer movement has intensified in the city. Volunteers not only assist the Ukrainian army, but also in carrying out sports and cultural and educational events, implementation of various social projects, ”said Lyubov Plotnikova, Deputy Mayor, Secretary of the Executive Committee.

Victoria Drach, project manager of CESNO Movement, presented a free online platform for active citizens of the Volunteer League (https://changer.in.ua). With this portal, indifferent Omani will be able to take part in city improvement events, social, cultural projects and more. The platform user can either create a specific event and invite volunteers as well as register as a volunteer and participate in events already created.

Lyubov Plotnikova thanked the representatives of the Movement for Honesty for the possibility of greater communication of Uman volunteers with like-minded people from other regions of Ukraine and invited the participants to join the online platform “Volunteer League”.
