A psychologist in a bank deals directly with the personnel themselves. His duties include a lot of functions, firstly, the recruitment of new employees to the bank. Before settling here for any post, a person is interviewing a psychologist, as well as psychological testing, necessary to remove people with mental disorders. The Bank is a structure that works with clients and has a direct dependence of the effectiveness of the results on how employees interact with clients. Therefore, the psychologist in the selection of personnel, looks first of all at the presence of candidates for the vacancy of professional qualities: on his personality traits, traits of character, temperament, resistance to monotonous and stressful occupations that occur in the profession.
A psychologist is involved in the formation of a reserve of personnel of the banking system. It forms the reserve of managers of the bank on average and at the highest level (managers, their deputies, etc.). On the basis of the generalization of all data about specific employees, a psychologist can recommend someone to vacant administrative positions.
The psychologist also deals with the training of staff. The purpose of this training: to teach the staff of the bank to work with clients so that those, after communicating with the employee, wanted to come back to the bank again and take advantage of its services.
