Faculty students get acquainted with the work of specialists in Uman district center of social services for family, children and youth

Students of / 12, p / 11-m, p / 11-m, p / 12, p / 21 of the group of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education on October 30, 2019 passed training: study practice at the Uman district center of social services for families , children and young people. Students met with the head of the institution – Todosychuk Olga Alexandrovna and other specialists of the center. And most importantly, in the conversation input, students learned about the specialization of the service, including the identification of problem families, parolees, and parolees.

Students were introduced to the directions of work of the service, such as social support for families, compiling a social passport for families, providing social services. The director of the center voiced the students the main purpose of the activity, which is to help meet the social needs of families, children and young people who are in difficult circumstances and who need outside help. They also learned that the work of the center is specific and somewhat dangerous, because experts from time to time meet with aggressive people who do not contact. But no matter what, children are happy with the meeting, the conversation and the essential information they receive, which will enrich their luggage of knowledge. And they proudly say that they are future social workers and psychologists.
