Participation in the training “Building a Cross-Sectoral Partnership on Preventing Trafficking in Persons and Assisting Trafficked Persons”

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work Oksana Shevchuk and Anna Kravchenko Anna 4th year student participated in the training on:
“Building an Intersectoral Partnership to Prevent Trafficking in Persons and Assist People Trafficked.” The experts of the 100% CHERKASY LIFE have established communication between specialists of different state structures in order to assist the victims of trafficking in human beings as effectively as possible. It is only through the combined efforts of non-governmental organizations and the public sector that we come close to overcoming slavery.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to work in groups, to develop a plan for the rehabilitation of victims, to learn communication practices and methods of active listening.

The event was part of the project “Implementation of the National Mechanism for the Interaction of Anti-Trafficking Agents, including Children”, which is being implemented in partnership with the United Nations Migration Agency with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Canada and the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) project.
