The Faculty is actively invited to the International Student Sports Day

On September 20, Ukraine celebrated International Student Sports Day. On this day, the Pavel Tychyna UDPU sports hall hosted a celebration of physical culture and sports, youth and healthy lifestyles.

Under the slogan “Healthy Youth is the Strength of the Nation,” UDPU students supported the Jump Sguats All-Ukrainian Flashmob, which showed their unity and athletic spirit – performed jumps.

The student youth of the faculty actively participated in competitions in various sports. Our students did not remain victorious, 1st year student Ruslan Andreeva received 2nd place and 4th year student Alexander Slyusarenko won 3rd place in basketball competitions.

On behalf of the UDU Rector, the honorary mission of rewarding the best athletes was fulfilled by the Vice-Rector for Humanitarian Affairs Natalia Revnyuk. The chairman of the UDPU trade union committee Valentin Khitruk prepared presents for the winners of the competition. The student of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education Yevgeny Ovsyannikov also received the well-deserved award.

Supporting young people in their pursuit of Olympic peaks is a strategic direction for the university. Our athletes are our pride!
