School of professional growth of a young teacher

On December 11, 2019, on the basis of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, the second meeting of the scientific-methodical seminar for the students of the school of professional growth of the young teacher was held.

The seminar was attended by 34 young teachers from different faculties and institutes of the University, including teachers of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education.

The Head of the School of Professional Growth of Young Teacher, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management Nadia Mykolayivna Stetsenko informed the students about the program of the seminar and stressed the importance of problems raised in the modern institution of higher education.

The report “Contemporary Requirements for Teachers of Higher School on Procedures for Accreditation of Educational Programs” was made by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work Tetiana Kochubei. In her report, she focused on the criteria for evaluating the quality of the educational program and carried out a detailed analysis of each criterion.

Practically oriented was the report of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies Galina Tkachuk, who introduced the participants of the seminar with the technologies of using QR-codes in the educational process and the means for conducting Kahoot! Testing.

The seminar also discussed the introduction of a functional element for questioning students about the assessment of the educational program and the discipline in the Moodle distance learning system. The experience of organizing such a questionnaire was presented by the Head of the Center for Distance Learning Nadia Mykolayivna Stetsenko and software engineer Joga Dmitry.
