Educational Event for Student Youth “Zero Discrimination”

9 березня 2020

Zero Discrimination Day was first celebrated on March 1, 2014.

Zero Discrimination Day support has created a global solidarity movement to put an end to any discrimination that remains widespread. Millions of women and girls who have been abused and abused in different regions are unable to exercise their rights or access to health, education or employment services. Discrimination in the workplace, schools and health care and other social institutions reduce the ability of people to fully and truly participate in society, provide for their families and care for them. For example, some of the 38 countries, territories, and districts have applied various forms of restrictions on the entry, stay and residence of people living with HIV. In addition, the legal and social environment in such regions is still unable to overcome the stereotypes of discrimination against people living with HIV.

Activist of the START Youth Center and Coordinator of the Gender Center Kompaniets Mykola held a Zero Discrimination Training event for UDPU student youth.

During the event, students watched videos of discrimination in today’s society. Discussions were held on discrimination.

At the educational event, each student expressed their opinion at the expense of professional training of specialists in dealing with people who were affected by inequality on the part of others.
