Scientific infrastructure of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education
The Faculty of Social and Psychological Education is one of the largest and best faculties of the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna. The faculty is still quite young (founded in 2005), but in a short period of time it is a worthy success in science.
Therefore, the scientific infrastructure of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education includes: Research Center of Pedagogical Regional Studies of double subordination of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and MES of Ukraine, Research Laboratories: Research Laboratory “Pedagogical Regional Studies of Cherkasy region” (Head – Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Kolyada N.M.) Research Laboratory of Pedagogical Competence (Head – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Boychenko V.V.) Polish-Ukrainian Research Laboratory of Psychodactics named after . Comenius (Head – Doctor of Education, Professor Osadchenko I.I.) Improving the skills of a psychologist named Anna Ivanovna Kahalnyak “(Head – Candidate of Psychology, Associate Dikhtiarenko S.Y.).
The faculty has formed powerful scientific schools of professors Kobernik O.M. “Theory, history and practice of project technology application in secondary and high school”, Kolyada N.M. “Actual problems of social education in the theory and history of pedagogy”, Kochubey T.D. “Actual problems of education and upbringing: history, present, prospects”, Safin O.D. “The future practical psychologist as an active subject of psychological practice”, known not only on the territory of Ukraine but also far beyond its borders.
The scientific infrastructure must be relevant, therefore, a number of scientific and practical centers are operating at the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education: Center for Social and Educational Integration and Inclusive Rehabilitation and Social Tourism “Without Barriers” (Head – Lecturer, Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work Voitovska A.I.), Gender Center (Head – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kravchenko O.O.), Center for Family Education (Head – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Polekhina V.M.), School of Social Experience “School of Social Sciences” (Head – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Bondarenko G.V.), Scientific and Methodological Center for Professional Development of Teachers (Head – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kobernik O.M.), Center for Psychological Diagnosis and Training Technologies “Insight” (Head – Lecturer in Psychology, Livandovska I.A.); START Youth Center (Leader – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Levchenko N.V.).
