FIRST KNOWLEDGE OF THE LIBRARY

On September 11, 2017, students of the first year of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education, in particular the 14th group, visited the library of the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna. It is here, in the heart of cultural development, all of the kids will know the world through the book and develop creative abilities.

The library staff acquainted students with the history of the institution, told about library funds, the availability and location of reading rooms. They also emphasized the readiness of the readers. Students learned about the forms of service readers, received an explanation of how to use the library’s information retrieval system.

During the library’s visit, readers’ tickets were issued to students. Also, friendly librarians have been pleased to have published books that will help freshmen better learn materials from different disciplines.

Students noted that librarians have created an atmosphere that encourages them to feel at home as a home, where the internet is, a cozy atmosphere, and most importantly, the silence that promotes creative intellectual work.
