Training of the Youth Worker Program “Involvement and Coordination of Volunteers”
From November 22 to November 24, a specialized training “volunteer involvement and coordination” of the Youth Worker Program was held in Vinnitsa
One of the selected participants was a master of our faculty of social and psychological education and coordinator of the gender education center Kompaniets Mykola.
During the three busy days, the participants of the training together with the trainer Anna Bondarenko considered the following modules:
- Prerequisites for working with volunteers
- Involvement and motivation of volunteers
- Development and support of volunteers
During the training, participants covered topics such as:
- The essence and role of volunteer activity in Ukraine and in the world
- Types, principles and characteristics of volunteer projects
- Volunteer management cycle and tools for interaction with volunteers
- Involvement of youth in volunteering
- Integration, adaptation and motivation of volunteers
- Strategies for developing long-term volunteering
- Methods of forming active communities
The knowledge gained during the training will help to improve the activity of the faculty centers and to improve the quality of work with our volunteers.
