“Military Psychology of dimensions of war and peace:

Problems, experience and prospects “

Participating in the conference were professors of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education Bayda S.P. – Lecturer in psychology, Mazur O.YU.– lecturer in psychology Isachenko V.P.– lecturer in social pedagogy and social work, Boiko A. – Lecturer in social pedagogy and social work.

It was considered the prospects of psychological training of military experts: theoretical and practical aspects. The experience of psychological rehabilitation of affected people. Issues of public activity in wartime. A round table “The war in Donbas: Who is to blame? What shall I do?

A second days of the conference was attended by scientists, teachers, military experts, the practice of psychology, psychotherapy, social work and other related industries, volunteers and other stakeholders.

Particular attention was paid to:

Theoretical and practical aspects and prospects of psychological training of military personnel:
– Psychological problems of military training and education;

– Socio-psychological foundations of military groups;

– Social and psychological aspects of military mobilization;

Experience psychological rehabilitation of affected people:
– Forms and methods of psychological help combatants, war invalids and vazhkoporanenym;

– Psychological and tools to overcome post-traumatic disorders;

– Forms and methods of psychological assistance to the families of dead soldiers;

Social and psychological problems of military conflict in eastern Ukraine were discussed at the round table “The war in Donbas: Who is to blame? What shall I do?”.

It also held ten workshops on the use of psychological means and tools to overcome post-traumatic disorders; enhance resource persons; work with families, groups and communities; secondary prevention of PTSD and syndrome of emotional burnout of psychologists and volunteers.
Teachers of Social and Psychological Education Uman State Pedagogical University named Paul Tyczyn took part in the following workshops:
“Personal and professional willingness to work with the loss (injury). Practical aspects “;
“Art therapy as a method of rehabilitation after traumatic events”;
“Organization of reflective thinking means structural role projective maps”;
“Empathy as a tool to work with post-traumatic stress disorder.”
